bend-weddings.com is operated by Jonathan and Lindsey King, a husband and wife photography team from Bellingham, Washington. Five years ago they planned their own wedding, and the following summer they started their wedding photography business. The couple used larger, more well-known wedding planning websites both in planning their wedding and in promoting their business, but found that the sites weren't of much help in either situation. While these websites did an excellent job of representing the businesses in and close to metropolis areas, they didn't provide much information on smaller cities. The couple needed a way to easily find comprehensive information on wedding professionals where they were planning their wedding.

And so BellinghamWedding.com was born. The website has proved to be valuable to both brides and local wedding professionals, so we decided to expand and bring you bend-weddings.com. Beyond providing a comprehensive list of local wedding professionals, our goal is to make the material on our site useful to brides. We are continually working to add features that will make bend-weddings.com more useful for brides and wedding professionals alike.
